FBoholic...

is it just me or most of us...? I find myself, often, in a self-made rehab center trying to get rid of the excessive compulsive disorder of facebooking....

So, let me see, what do you do the first thing in the morning when you get up? If visiting facebook is not one of the first 5 things you do in the morning then I must congratulate you for you are the one who has been successful at restraining away from all the worldly temptations of the latest cyber addiction, of socializing. You probably also have found a perfect excuse to subdue the once in a while arousal of let's-join-the-bandwagon feeling. And, ofcourse you have mastered the art of saying "No" to a friend-request when you really wanted to say so! Not to forget, neither do you like to spend virtually half of your life chatting / poking / scrapping distant friends whom you haven't met in years as well as the ones next door or cabin whom you meet every coffee and tea break, nor do you rejoice at harvesting a perfectly grown (virtual) farm... you probably don't also raise your thumb saying wow! "i liked it" to an obvious thing somebody just brought to your notice... you don't also share every third thought that comes to your mind with the entire world.... you don't share photos of your cute puppies, rabbits, rats, cats, shoes, socks, toothbrush... or every third activity you do in a week as your greatest achievement! you live every moment to see the world as it is... and not live every moment to show the world, the world as you think it is....

.... but if you think you show signs against any of the above traits.... probably you need to spend some time too in a self-made rehab center trying to get rid of the excessive compulsive disorder of facebooking...

Another year passing by....
Resolution? Ok, this time for sure... seriously... :)

time to also look back at the decade that's passing by... two religions followed by most people in the land where i come from makes it to the top of my list to start with... Movies and Cricket...

Taking a cue from popular newspaper like this surprisingly the person who skips most accolades most of the time takes the cake in this list...

Cricket-wise, I guess Sachin and Australia would top the list again... this year and this decade... the later looking to lose the gloss a bit... and both looking to pass the baton to others in the coming years...

signing off with a todo sticky to do "real" thinking in whatever time of 2009 is remaining...

Hope, it doesn't turn out to be a mess of things...

Flogging

Spot the unusualness in the picture!

This is a photo of my inhouse-worship-desk taken on a Ram-Navami Day! I remember, having flogged (i.e. fotologged) a similar photo taken during Ganesh festival in my Pune home some time back. But, this one differs from that in atleast one way - I used Rs. 1 coin then, that's replaced by $1 bill this time.

AMP is IMP and birth of web 4.0

i think... AMP is all that matters, it doesn't have to really ride on L always... I just installed WAMP i.e. on windows ( shud be actually VAMP as it was a vista box ;) ) and it works pretty well. i dont have to worry about L or W or M... that's all fine!

i think... the next big thing is gonna be based on the same theme itself.... think about it, what the heck OS means? operating system? what the heck does it operate? disk? who on earth cares about it... i mean no-one gives it a damn anymore... systems operating and operating on disks is a passé...

the place where i live, it rains round the clock most part of the year! if it ain't the heaven-gates opening down on earth it is some other gates who otherwise does the job ;) Point is, it's always cloudy down here... that pulls me back on this very idea, yes, the systems definitely would be running in that 'cloud' in future! would that be what i shall say, web 4.0? i think, yes.

era of co-existence of multi-systems is not far away...

He he he....

I've lost the count... this is my nth blog site or public bulletin board or web log to say precisely.... this is wierd, i mean i can't even be faithful to a single weblog... straight comes the answer "because i simply love blogging...." and no reading between the lines or co-relating this trait of mine here with regards to personal realtionships btw.... ;)

Ok, so, why i m back again here? and what about other blogs i am having an on and off liasons with? and am i serious with this one, this time? and again comes a straight answer "i don't promise anything 'cause that's what something i can't do... but the truth is i m here coz i know i can't be anywhere else, right now, this is the only place i've chosen to be at (or is it i have nowhere else to go ;) and not even dressed up enuff i get to go somewhere)"

Ok, enough convincing, i m bad at that. So back to the point... i have come here to shed my skin... u see, it's been a long hibernation and want to dust off the rust...
And what am i going to sell here... i mean if ever somebody's peeps to buy anything at all? I have nothing to sell but a few ideas, ideas that strucks to me, not necessarily to answer but which may complicate things further... i think.... i am gonna drop by often here and share something... don't promise it would be interesting enough for you to buy, but sure worth to give a try! i think so, 'coz i think everydbody thinks, and may be somebody is there amongst you, who i think thinks the way i do! So what's say? can somebody pls follow me with that front spotlight, as i head down the ramp? Ladiiij and gentlemen pls welcome the one and the only sleeveless-in-seattle - i think... his name is.... ammm.... forget it... :)
